The ARMSTRONG NFC Passive Lock brings smart access control to places where batteries, wiring, and external power sources are difficult to install or maintain.

Using NFC energy-harvesting technology, the lock receives the power required for authentication and unlocking directly from an NFC-enabled device. Simply tap to power, authenticate, and unlock.

With no battery inside the lock, the system reduces maintenance requirements while providing a smarter and more sustainable access solution for industrial equipment, infrastructure, logistics, and secure storage applications.

How It Works

TAP → POWER → AUTHENTICATE → UNLOCK

When an authorized NFC device approaches the lock, NFC energy transfer activates the electronic system. The lock verifies the access credentials and releases the locking mechanism.

No permanent power supply is required at the lock.
